What were your first impressions of AirTanker when you joined?
"Air Tanker on first impressions are a very inclusive and welcoming company. There seems to be complete transparency between management and the rest of the company resulting in an open and honest working culture. You are treated as an individual and not just seen as a number"
How did you find the training process? Was there anything particularly helpful or challenging?
"The training process was extremely good. The instructors had a very easy manner which enables you to be at ease in which can be a very intense environment. They were always keen to help and take extra time with things that people may have been struggling with and nothing was ever too much trouble. The facilities are great and was good to get hands on with equipment and fully involved in practical learnings. Time was taken to get to know our strengths and weaknesses and there was an element of fun injected into the training process making it less stressful".

"There’s definitely a sense of belonging and inclusion when you are on the long trips. There always chat groups set up so as to keep everyone informed and included of any plans and this alleviates the feeling of seclusion whilst away from home for long periods of time"
