Our Hiring Process
- Stage 1
Applied
Thank you for your application, the hiring manager will now review your details. If you are a potential match, we’ll schedule a call to qualify you as a candidate.
- Stage 2
Hiring Manager Shortlisting
This is where applicants are shortlisted by the hiring manager, based on skills and experience necessary for the role. If you meet the criteria required in the job advert, we will then be in contact.
- Stage 3
Career Team Phone Screen
The purpose of the phone screen is to check that candidates meet the security requirements of the role. Along with capturing important details, such as holiday booked, notice periods and salary expectations.
- Stage 4
Interview
Interviews can be in person or via Microsoft Teams. Interviews are typically competency based, and we will often ask what you know about AirTanker, so research prior to your interview is advised. If we require a presentation or case study for your interview, we will advise you of that at the pre-screen stage.
- Stage 5
Verbal Offer
A member of the careers team will be in touch to make a verbal offer. Should you verbally accept the offer, they will explain the next steps in order to issue a written offer, and arrange a potential start date.
- Stage 6
Hired
Once all documents have been returned you will receive confirmation. This will then trigger the induction and onboarding process.
