We have introduced an investment programme, ‘Talent Segments’, to help us understand how we need to develop each employee, based on where they are at in their career and what they aspire to achieve. From new starters to job masters, we will invest in employee development. Each of the nine talent segments sets out how we will invest, whether it is developing leadership capability or job knowledge and skills.

CAA-accredited and licensed training
We embrace and learn from the experiences and knowledge of our embedded RAF personnel. Through the Talent Segment programme, our technicians can now benefit from Resource Group online self-study modules to gain B1/B2 licences and then be supported through authorisation and type-rating to complete a career pathway for promotion to B1/B2 engineer.

Licences are provided as standard to all our employees on joining; independent learning is encouraged as well as being used as part of our development programmes. To ensure access to high-quality learning and development courses, AirTanker has also partnered with several different providers, with information being made available on our learning and development website.
